Hellooo! Welcome back to The Guitarrón Chronicles hosted by your fellow guitarrónes, Danielle and Hannah! This week we’ll get to hear from Nicole, our fellow guitarist and vihuela player!
‧₊˚❀‧₊˚. Nicole’s Summer Update 7-5-26 ‧₊˚❀‧₊˚.
Hello everyone! I’m Nicole, I’m the vihuela player. This is my senior year and I’m majoring in Chemical Engineering. My summer has been separated into three distinct sections:
Ecuador Time
As I do every year, my parents and I went to visit our family in Ecuador. I got matching tattoos with my parents, and then proceeded to take a hike to a beautiful waterfall the next day. I’ve attached some photos of the hike and of the mountains. This December I’ll be summiting a few of them as my senior trip, the biggest one being Cotopaxi. I also bought an accordion.

Drive to California
This summer I’m working at a ranch camp in California, and I drove to get here. It took 9 days because my parents and I stopped at a bunch of National and State parks. We stopped, in order, at Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Petrified Forest National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Sequoia National Park, and Kings Canyon National Park. Photos are attached!

Ranch Camp
Yeah. I’m at a ranch camp! Lots of kids and it’s super interesting. Y’all im 5 weeks in and a little tired. Can’t give pictures of here, but trust it’s fun and great. I have so many fun new stories.
Thanks for sharing, Nicole! You take very beautiful pictures and your adventures seem like a lot of fun. We wish you the best of luck for the rest of your time at the ranch :D
Until next week!
Hannah & Danielle
